Music You Never Heard But Should Have
What's On My iPod?

I (Allen) love to play music. I've been playing the drums since fifth grade. I had a drum set in high school, and later, in the mid-nineties, I had another drum set which I played with a band in Raleigh, North Carolina. We called ourselves Individually Twisted. Visit the band site here.

I have a Fender Stratocaster, an Ibanez Mikro bass, and a Yamaha acoustic that was a gift from my friend Lance Avery. I also have various amps and guitar effects.

I have Cakewalk SONAR on a laptop and use a Line 6 UX1 adapter for input. Throw in an MXL 990 mic for vocals (powered by an Art Tube MP preamp) and a Shure Beta 58A and it makes for a comfortable little setup in the basement!

Here's a couple of songs that I recorded. I wrote the songs, played all the instruments, and sang all the vocals:

Rainy Day Girl - a song that I wrote about Robin. Recorded August 1-2, 2007.

Wonderin' - a little song that I wrote just to test out to see if I could actually use SONAR. Recorded January, 2006.
